WHAT IS MONKEY MARCH?

"The Monkey March is a nationwide campaign encouraging young children to get active with their families, whilst raising funds for disabled children in the UK"

Welcome to the Monkey March! -

Monkey March, is a great way to monkey around. Your Little Monkeys will have lots of fun doing the sponsored 1km fun walk. Do the walk in fancy dress, and use the little monkey’s area to design your own mask. The Monkey March is a fun and exciting event for us to all help disabled children in your community. All the money raised in your community will help a child and their families to live a better life.

If you wish to create your own Monkey March Tree or join a Monkey March Forest organised by Caudwell Children Volunteers or Socatots you can do this at any time through the spring and the summer.

Who do we raise money for?-

• To date Caudwell Children has made over 2000 donations to families with disabled children.

• To date Caudwell Children has donated almost £1million to help children with wheelchair needs.

• In March 2007 Caudwell Children was independently acknowledged as the second largest voluntary provider of specialist equipment in the UK.

• The Charity has supported children with over 100 different conditions.

• To date Caudwell Children has spent over £1.2 million on treatments and therapies for autistic children.

The Lesonn Trust
Socatots are hosting Monkey Marches around the UK, and 25% of all money raised at their events shall go towards The Lesonn Trust. This money shall then be used by the franchise to allow vulnerable and deprived children to take part in family learning Socatot sessions in your community.
