FAQ's

What happens to all the pictures that are taken - can we get copies?

Yes.  This year Caudwell Children have added a new sponsor to the Monkey March. Their specialisation is in keeping parents in touch with their children in nursery.  They do this by using a confidential and secure mobile picture & video sharing service.

What is the Monkey March?

The Monkey March is a 1km sponsored walk for children aged 5 and under. Nurseries, pre-schools, crèches, voluntary groups, child minders, parents, grand parents, brothers, sisters and friends can all take part in the Monkey March.

What is a Monkey March Tree?

A TREE is where monkeys live, eat and play all their lives so we see each branch on a tree as a class, age group or where a child lives. Each leaf on the tree is a child taking part in the Monkey March. You will then be creating your very own monkey tree. See the little monkeys area to design your own tree and use the monkey mask template to colour in and create you own mask.

What is a Monkey March Forest?

A FOREST is a Monkey March event organized by Caudwell Children or Socatots. The forest will be a collection of tree’s taking part in the event. If there is no Forest organized for your area and you wish to organize one contact us to discuss in more detail.

What is a Monkey March Forest Ranger?

A FOREST RANGER is a registered group who organizes a Monkey March Forest to allow the tree’s to march like Monkey’s together. The forests will take place at Zoo’s, City Parks, City Carnivals, and Farms etc

When can it take place?

The Monkey March will run through the spring and summer months of April through to August.
